The aim of this article is to set a few things straight because far too many people and even some so-called professionals have a misplaced understanding of a few important things.

The internet is ALL about information

Everybody already knew that so it’s a stupid statement isn’t it-  I don’t think so and I quote from a Chinese Proverb to illustrate my whole point.

"I hear and I forget, I see and I remember. I do and I understand." - Chinese Proverb

If you want to conquer the internet you must actually BASE your internet presence on information and you’ll understand the uttermost importance of above statement.

The same also applies to the real world because education is all about information, work is all about information and relationship is also all about information and knowledge about each other.

The internet is a virtual world

Everybody also heard that too but once again I want to remind you of the Chinese Proverb that say “I hear and I forget, I see and I remember, I do and I understand.”

If you want to conquer the internet you must actually accept the internet as being a virtual world. A virtual world that belongs to no one but you.

The same also applies to your own life because if you die the external world will go on but YOUR world will exist no more.  It’s still there but it’s no longer your house, your family, your clothes, your boss or your moon, stars and skies.

Just like the real live world consist of millions of people the virtual internet world also consist of millions of websites and building YOUR virtual world with INFORMATION is the most important thing that you can do.

The Internet is a real virtual game

It was not my intention to focus so much on a single Chinese proverb but once again you can only fully understand above statement if you actually DO what is necessary to conquer the internet.

The internet is virtual but yet it’s also very real because it connects to the real world so that you can buy and transact online.  In that sense the internet is reality but it’s also a game like monopoly because you can build a huge internet real estate without spending a real-life fortune.

Information is commonly regarded as the CURRENCY of the internet and that also explain the key difference between building a very valuable brick-and-mortar real estate and a very valuable internet real estate.

In the real life world you must build your real estate with real life money, you must fill your rooms with real life furniture and lay your garden and swimming pool with money from your pocket.

In the virtual world you must build your real estate with information, you must fill your rooms with information and lay your garden and swimming pool with information from your brain.

What it all means for you

Regardless your internet venture, being it a personal or company website or a method to earn money online or promoting your business, you undoubtfully have a vast amount of information available that you can use to achieve your goal.

In your real life you use that information to do your job and earn a salary, you use that information to manage a business, take care of your garden and interact with family, friends, employees and other people.

In your virtual world you can use that same information to play the real virtual game according the same yet slightly different set of rules.

To transact online you must getting real and the focus must be on fast, effective and painless transactions just like the real world. 

To build your business you must accept that the internet is virtual and based on information so the more and more information you have on your website the better.

To play the game use information as your currency, as your tool of trade and your secret weapon to win more friends, customers and overpower your enemies in order to increase your virtual land and real estate.
